Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director as well as a producer, playwright, and educator at St. Thomas University. Her father is from Britain and her mother is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's early memories include attending play rehearsals and watching her mother's working. Anna was a part of numerous commercials in her early years. Anna relocated to Toronto in order to help her acting develop. In the following years, she was able to move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in the year 2009. Anna converted to Judaism in January 2011 and the couple renewed their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton.
