Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and a singer. An attractive and intelligent actor, she is an inspiration for many Asian actors looking to become famous in Hollywood. After a series of initial performances in popular shows she achieved fame by joining the cast of the show Legal Comedy Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. The new fame she gained was transferred into roles for the big screen for Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. The actress gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. The actress also played the lead role in the failures of box office films like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she began to voice prominent characters in animation films, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's performance as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not result in any results. A recurring role in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland was instrumental in establishing her as a prominent actress. Liu chooses her roles with care in order to ensure she is not typecast in a competitive industry. While she's proud of her roots, she does not let this hinder her creative abilities.
